PICTURE DIARY: Shopping spree at Hip Boutique

If you’ve been following me for a while you know by now that I love looking for new web shops. Still, I have to admit I always love going to a ‘real’ shop where I can feel the fabrics, try stuff on and – perhaps more importantly – immediately purchase something and take it home! I can tell you all about the big stores in Amsterdam but I want to put focus on smaller boutiques that offer exclusive products for a moment. Hip Boutique in Amsterdam is one of my favorite spots. My friend Tamara Aaron owns a store in Amsterdam called Hip Boutique. Last week I visited for the first time. I was looking for a dress for a party and had to go shopping in between work appointments (I only had 10 minutes!). A little difficult to choose when there is so much nice stuff. A lot of the dresses are from the French couture brand ‘Bain de Nuit’. Hip Boutique is the only official sales point of this brand in the Netherlands. The dresses are famous for their smooth fit and sequins & applications (little stones and beads). They are really luxurious and glamorous. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Tamara also sells trousers, sweaters, shoes and bags. See the pictures of the store and me trying different dresses!
